HEARTSAVER First Aid Module

This AHA has designed the Heartsaver CPR/AED Infant & Child course to prepare those who work specifically with young infants and young children and may be called upon to respond to:

• Blood borne pathogen protection
• Bleeding, wounds, internal bleeding
• Head, neck and spine injuries
• Broken bones and sprains
• Burns and electrocution
• Breathing problems, allergic reactions, diabetes/low blood sugar
• Choking
• Seizure and stroke
• Temperature related emergencies
• Insect bites and stings, snakebites
• Poison and environmental emergencies
• Want or need a course completion card

Individuals who typically need this type of certification include; workplace first responders in the construction and building trades, police and firefighters, health club and fitness staff and sport coaches.
