In the event of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, SCA, the single most important factor in determining a positive patient outcome is the early administration of CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator or AED.
Northwest AED offers a wide range of American Heart Association courses that effectively teaches emergency first aid, and the basic techniques of adult, child and infant CPR. As use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), is increasingly becoming an accepted "standard of care", these devices are now commonly found in many public venues; airports, schools and fitness facilities. Northwest AED also offers advanced courses for healthcare professionals, emergency staffing personnel, intensive care or critical care departments; and emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other professionals. These courses include BLS for the Healthcare Provider. Additional training courses will be provided in the future.
